PRIVACY POLICY

Human Ring Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of User Information, including "Personal Information" based on the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act"), of individuals who visit the Company's website or use the various services operated by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"), with such individuals hereinafter collectively referred to as "Stakeholders."

1. Scope of User Information Collected

In this Policy, "User Information" refers to all information collected by the Company from Stakeholders in accordance with the methods set forth below.

Information Provided by Stakeholders

  • Profile information of Stakeholders, such as name, date of birth, gender, age, and occupation.

  • Contact information, such as email address, phone number, and address.

  • Information entered or transmitted by Stakeholders through input forms or other means designated by the Company.

  • Information such as Stakeholder account names and chat content displayed on SNS communication tools like LINE.

Information Collected by the Company as Stakeholders Use the Services

The Company may collect information regarding the access status and usage methods of the Services. This includes the following information:

  • Referrers

  • IP addresses

  • Information related to server access logs

  • Cookies, ADID, IDFA, and other identifiers

2. Purpose of Use of User Information

The specific purposes of use for the User Information collected by the Company from Stakeholders are as follows:

  • To provide, maintain, and protect the Services for Stakeholders.

  • To provide guidance regarding the Services and to respond to inquiries from Stakeholders.

  • To request Stakeholders to complete questionnaires or surveys regarding the Services.

  • To use information for purposes for which individual consent has been obtained from Stakeholders after separate notification by the Company.

  • To create statistical materials categorized by Stakeholder attributes (such as age and address).

  • To deliver, display, and measure the effectiveness of advertisements tailored to the preferences of individual Stakeholders.

3. Safety Management of Personal Information

To ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, the Company implements reasonable security measures against unauthorized access to personal information, restrictions on means of removal, unauthorized access, leakage, loss, destruction, and alteration. In the unlikely event that an accident involving personal information, such as a leakage, occurs, the Company will promptly take appropriate measures, including measures to prevent recurrence.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

Among User Information, the Company will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from the Stakeholder, except in the following cases:

  • When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.

  • When cooperation with a national government agency, local government, or an entity entrusted by them is necessary to execute affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the Stakeholder may impede the execution of such affairs.

  • When jointly using information with business partners of the Company.

  • When succession of business occurs due to a merger, company split, business transfer, or other reasons.

  • In other cases permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.

5. Regarding Cookies

A Cookie (hereinafter written as "Cookie") is a file temporarily stored on a Stakeholder's computer to identify the browser of the Stakeholder who viewed the Company's website. By storing Cookies, browsing information and other data from the Stakeholder's computer can be recorded on the Company's server. Through these technologies, the Company understands the usage status of the Services, improves the Services, and enhances the service experience for Stakeholders. If you wish to disable Cookies, you can do so by changing your web browser settings. However, please note that disabling Cookies may prevent you from using some functions of the Services.

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

The Company will respond to requests from the individual or their representative for disclosure, etc., regarding retained personal data as follows. To request disclosure, please contact the Company inquiry desk listed in Section 9. We will guide you through the designated procedures.

  • Notification of the purpose of use

  • Disclosure (including disclosure of records of third-party provision)

  • Correction, addition, or deletion of content

  • Suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties

7. Correction and Suspension of Use of Personal Information

When requested by a Stakeholder to:

  1. Correct the content of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act on the grounds that the personal information is untrue;

  2. Suspend the use of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the previously disclosed purpose of use; or

  3. Suspend the use of personal information on the grounds that it was collected through deception or other wrongful means,

the Company will, after confirming that the request is made by the Stakeholder themselves, conduct the necessary investigation without delay.

Based on the results of the investigation, the Company will correct the content or suspend the use of the personal information and notify the Stakeholder to that effect. If the Company decides not to correct or suspend the use, it will notify the Stakeholder of that decision. (This provision does not apply if the Company is not obligated to correct or suspend use under laws and regulations.)

Furthermore, if a Stakeholder requests the erasure of their own personal information, and the Company determines it necessary to comply with the request, the Company will, after confirming that the request is made by the Stakeholder themselves, erase the personal information and notify the Stakeholder to that effect.

8. Procedures for Amending this Policy

The Company may amend the content of this Policy as deemed necessary by the Company. However, for amendments to this Policy that require the consent of Stakeholders under laws and regulations, the amended Policy shall apply only to Stakeholders who have consented to the changes via the method prescribed by the Company. When amending this Policy, the Company will notify Stakeholders by posting the content and effective date of the amended Policy on the Company's website.
